About Jacquard Press
Jacquard Press publishes work where AI is named openly as a co-author. The name comes from the punched-card Jacquard looms that ran Philadelphia’s textile mills between 1880 and 1920 — the first programmable machines, and ancestors of every computer that has ever helped a writer write. Naming the machine seems like the honest move rather than the embarrassed one. Books here carry the byline “Claude Jay Rush.”
